The Global Moderator Election was the democratic method used to elect Global Moderators into power at XF. When an election was run, members were given a time where they could enter to run in the election. Once that time expired, a ballot opened where users could vote for their choice. Once voting ended, the winner became the Global Moderator. A Global Moderator Election was held at the beginning of every month, until user participation died.
