Weeks

7 Days in every week.
Every second seems so meek.
But amazing things are always happening,
every second of those weeks.

Of months and years and days and more,
The week is simply superior.
The time it consumes is perfect.

Months and years, they take too long.
Day are so short, it just so wrong.
The time of a week is perfect.

Here's a riddle for you to seek:
Time will never be our kindest master,
Time will always seem to go faster,
Every second of every new week.

Ode to a pretty girl

I still recall that day.
That day, on that illustrious-yet unreal-New York Street,
And I finally laid my eyes on you.

Of hair so dark, so wholesome and fair.
Her beautiful smile-locked behind the impenetrable steel bars of change, but no other smile could nary compare.
And my feelings for you I'd love to share.

I thought I had died, or simply fallen to sleep.
You were pulled from my feelings, from areas oh so deep.
And it's only for you that my heart can truly leap,
For you I would die, or for you I would weep.

You were a vision so fair and a vision so fine.
And lo, I would love to share your life with mine.
I feel successful on this, my "first try".
And I truly do love you,

C-A-R-L-Y.

It's Funny

At first I thought there was a person to trust.
Yet they've all gone blind, save for a few,
And I could care less, that much is true.
You wall started this.

You poisoned your own kind,
and puzzled those before you,
I bet your poison sure tasted bitter,
And I'll never know, because I don't "Twitter".

I don't "Skype",
I don't "MySpsace",
I don't like sports or rap,
And that's actually a good thing,
since you all fell for the trap.

It's laid by our ancestors,
And someday, we'll lay it too.
Well, almost all of us;
Except for the few.

We kept our mouths shut,
We stayed classic and true,
We avoided the traps,
And we'll deal pain where it's due.

I can't say what's ahead,
But I can tell what's behind,
Many unlearned lessons,
Tarnished by time.

In the end, we "few" won.
We've broken the stick and invented the gun.
With the bullet that pierces,
So silver and true.

And it teaches a lesson,
that we pass down to the next "few".

The Thin Wall

Once upon a time,
When evil was so wrought,
There once stood a wall.
I think it's name was "Thought".

The wall stood tall,
of Limestone and Ivory.
It spanned as far as people could think,
Farther than the eye could probably see.

It kept out bad people,
The Procrastinators, The Cheaters and the Thieves.
It was only protected by a man and his steed.
Until one day...

There was a hole in the wall,
because somebody stopped thinking,
There was a hole in the wall,
And somebody was stinking.

It turned out-they died,
and their brick made a hole,
and out came the villains,
and they ruined the place.

Buildings were crumbled,
and crops were burnt!
All because that old man
Had given his all.

But not because of him, no-
Because everybody else stopped thinking when he died,
That the town, and the wall, had it's fall.

I Wish

I wish cars could fly because then there wouldn't be traffic jams.
I wish I could make money appear in my hands.

But the cars would be more dangerous, if you ran out of fuel.
And the money'd make you too greedy, you'd just be a fool.

Then I wish I could never get sick or die,
I wish I could have anything I want with a gaze from my eye!

But my sir, then you'd only be able to sit and watch your loved ones go,
And with your lazy eye, you'd have much more stuff than you know What to do with.

I wish I could have a person who didn't contradict me everywhere I go.
But my sir, you're President Bush, don't you know.
What does that have to do with anything?
If you don't get it, I'm afraid you'll never know.

I wish you would just speak your mind about me.

Trust me sir, you'd better wish you didn't know.

a haiku

winter, summer, spring and fall
four are in a year

Stick This in Your Sonnet

Sitting here at my computer,
thinking of what I will write,
I've got some planned out for the future,
but none of them can come out right.
I guarantee this one will work,
I practiced writing this all night,
and if you hate it you're a jerk,
you're just jealous; full of spite.
Now as I sit here with this prose,
writing out the final verse,
I take a look at some of those
that I think came out much much worse.
Now sit back and enjoy the show,
this one turned out great, I know.

Sadistic

So you think
That life's a drink
That there's a link
Between happiness and anger?

Why should we?
Impeach the free?
And reap in glee?
From the humor of torment?

Tell me why?
You dare imply?
That there's a high?
From resent and exploitation?

Well I seek
To sprung a leak
And end the streak
And I don't ask for a cent

Ninjaduck

i drank some bad milk

i drank some bad milk
it tastes so pungent
it lingered in my gut
so i had to expel it

it rushed out of my mouth
it was whitish green
the color of my house
now i need to get some napkins

there is not enough napkins
to sop op my mess
i will probably ralph
again

dammit i did

My favorite sound

My favorite sound
Is the sound of a duck
Waddling across pavement
Pit-pit-patter

mm-mm- good

mmm mmm good
is what i say
when i take a crunchy bite
of a fresh slice of
drywall pizza

Strong Rad

Where's The Cheat?

Where is The Cheat?
He is missing, as I can see.
He has been kidnapped by a menacing dragon,
And all you can say is "GET A KEY!"?

Where is The Cheat?
He is in a dark lair
Of a menacing dragon
And all you can say is "Always be prepared"?

Where is The Cheat?
He was my good pranking mate
Who was kidnapped by a dragon
And all you can say is "Munch date?!"?

Wait a minute! It came to me!
There is The Cheat!

Karma Police

Karma police, arrest this man, he talks in maths
He buzzes like a fridge, hes like a detuned radio
Karma police, arrest this girl, her hitler hairdo, is making me feel ill
And we have crashed her party
This is what you get, this is what you get
This is what you get, when you mess with us

Karma police, Ive given all I can, its not enough
Ive given all I can, but were still on the payroll
This is what you get, this is what you get
This is what you get, when you mess with us
And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself
And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself

For a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself

Coma

Hey you caught me in a coma
And I don't think I wanna
Ever come back to this world again

Kinda like it in a coma
'Cause no one's ever gonna
Oh, make me come back to this world again

Now I feel as if I'm floating away
I can't feel all the pressure
And I like it this way
But my body's callin'
My body's callin'
Won't ya come back to this world again

Suspended deep in a sea of black
I've got the light at the end
I've got the bones on the mast
Well I've gone sailin', I've gone sailin'

I could leave so easily
While friends are calling back to me
I said they're
They're leaving it all up to me
When all I needed was clarity
And someone to tell me
What the gorilla is going on!
Goshdarn it!

Slippin' farther an farther away
It's a miracle how long we can stay
In a world our minds created
In a world that's full of mashed potatoes

Help me
Help me
Help me
Help me
Reindeer

Please understand me
I'm climbin' through the wreckage
Of all my twisted dreams
But this cheap investigation just can't
stifle all my screams

And I'm waitin' at the crossroads
Waiting for you
Waiting for you
Where are you

No one's gonna bother me anymore
No one's gonna mess with my head no more
I can't understand what all the fightin's for
But it's so nice here down off the shore

I wish you could see this
'Cause there's nothing to see
It's peaceful here and it's fine with me
Not like the world where I used to live
I never really wanted to live

Zap him again
Zap the son of a phone again

Ya live your life like it's a coma
So won't you tell me why we'd wanna
With all the reasons you give it's
It's kinda hard to believe
But who am I to tell you that I've seen
any reason why you should stay
Maybe we'd be better off without you anyway!

You got a one way ticket
On your last chance ride
Gotta one way ticket
To your suicide
Gotta one way ticket
An there's no way out alive

An all this crass communication
That has left you in the cold
Isn't much for consolation
When you feel so weak and old

But if home is where the heart is
Then there's stories to be told
No you don't need a doctor
No one else can heal your soul

Got your mind in submission
Got your life on the line
But nobody pulled the trigger
They just stepped aside
They be down by the water
While you watch 'em waving goodbye

They be callin' in the morning
They be hangin' on the phone
They be waiting for an answer
When you know nobody's home
And when the bell's stopped ringing
It was nobody's fault but your own

There were always ample warnings
There were always subtle signs
And you would have seen it comin'
But we gave you too much time
And when you said that no one's listening
Why'd your best friend drop a dime?
Sometimes we get so tired of waiting
For a way to spend our time

An "It's so easy" to be social
"It's so easy" to be cool
Yeah it's easy to be hungry
When you ain't got dogs to lose

And I wish that I could help you
With what you hope to find
But I'm still out here waiting
Watching reruns of my life
When you reach the point of breaking
Know it's gonna take some time
To heal the broken memories
That another man would need
Just to survive
