Here's an idea!

Remember how there was Other Character Fanstuff on the HRFWiki? I say we make A section called Wiki User Fanstuff, which will include Wiki User Emails, but we can also have a section to list all of the review shows and talk shows we may have made or whatever. Also, we can have a Fake Character Fanstuff section within the WUF page. I'm gonna carry this out and see what comes to mind. TJ the Red Fox 13:15, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

I like every idea except for the wiki user/fake character diversity, because There's no need for separation, and technically, when they're together it's all either Wiki User or Fake Character, because the Wiki User is controlling them, or that they're all fake characters, and know that I remember it, "FC" is hardly even a good term, because all of the characters are aliases the wiki user assumes when writing. Well, the Userpedia was popular until Scribblewiki failed them. Then half of the users there left in anger. The same thing happened to the HRFWiki, only, they eventually came here instead. And, yeah, it is pretty much the same thing except it's about users about the Super Mario Wiki instead of the HRFWIki and it also has articles, which I can make here. A guide to spambots

Hey guys, recent spambot vandalism and the not-too-exemplary response has made me post this topic, so, here goes.

FOR ALL:

• When reverting, instead of making commentary, just type "rv/v" in the edit summary box.
• Do not talk to the spambots, just ignore them. "Don't feed the trolls"

FOR MODS/SYSOPS:

• Do not ban an IP for an infinite amount of time, as many people use DHCP and could be given an IP that is blocked on this wiki. Many of these spambots use proxies as well, therefore blocking anyone who wants to use that proxy. Also do not ban for more than a week (I'm at fault on this too, so I'll start following this now).
• For users, ban for an infinite amount of time.
