Nature Strike Dispute gets Bigger/Typhoon Hits Out at France
On the 18th of April 2008 the owners of Nature Strike, France, were made an offer for the club by Spain, of $2 billion. France accepted this, but later canceled it and demanded more. Spain were furious and brought the matter into court. Both countries are still disputing over who should have it and now Iceland has declared interest in Nature Strike.
Typhoon, Nature Strike's captain, issued this statement:
"All I wish is that the countries get this settled so we can concentrate on the Worm Cup more, instead of having to be subject to this dispute. I just can't believe that France canceled the deal and plunged us into this disarray. The should have agreed the deal at first instead of having to go through all this."
It's now up to the countries and the law to decide if Spain gets Nature Strike and France gets its £2 billion or the deal falls through.
