Mikel ''Typhoon'' Alvarez Lanux is the young captain of Nature Strike. He has little experience though time has told he has the potential of a born leader.

Born on February 4th, 1988 in Luxor, Egypt and brother of Tornado, Typhoon was always interested in playing Worms. He soon got into the game and played it frequently. At age 11, he was admitted into Nature Strike's under-12 Worm Squad, the Sharkbiters. He proved to be very smart in the arena. He was named captain of the team at age 12, and then he was passed into the Under-14 Squad, which he captained to the Under-14 Worm Cup trophy until his big break came when he and his brother Tornado was bought by Nature Strike, a small team who was Egyptain. He had many successes with this team and soon became their top player. Nature Strike have since risen in rankings and eventually were bought by owners of France and more recently, Spain.

Typhoon played in the Egypt Under-21 for quite a while bfore he was picked for the official squad, where he excelled and soon became a very important asset to the squad. He has won 12 Under-21 Caps and 43 Official Caps for Egypt. He also qualifies to play for Spain via his Spanish parents.
[edit] Nature Strike Career
Typhoon has played in the Nature Strike team for 5 years, having joined them in 2003. He became captain of the then struggling team in 2004 and helped them in their qualification for the Worm Cup for the first time in 4 years. He has since been tutoring many young and promising Nature Strike players, including Tsunami and Breeze. He is currently tutoring Whirlwind and has been in lethal form this season. He has recently hit out of Nature Strike's former French owners, who canceled Nature Strike's deal with Spain, but later approved it after his comments. Typhoon is still playing for Nature Strike, despite many interests in buying him.
