Q: How do characters arrive in the World In Her Hands World (GodWorld)?
A: They are pulled from their own worlds and deposited directly into an identical version of their life here in GodWorld. Although that is up to each individual mun, also. Each character can be brought in and deposited randomly in any city, if the mun so wishes. Every character arrives with a Godbox/cellphone in their pocket with a text message that tells them how to use it, and it reads like this: "Welcome! To use this Godbox, flip out the keyboard and press the Godbox button. Either type or say the location you want to travel to, then press enter. To use as a cellphone for calling or internet purposes, simply use it normally. You are pre-assigned a message board account and may access the boards from this phone or any computer with your account. Good luck!" The main community Worldinherhands is a message board, just like any other forum or message baord you could find on the internet. The character journals are the "handles" or message board accounts you use to access the boards. There are no journals. The boards are accessible by computer, or by the Godbox/cellphone device each person arrives with, which is a Blackberry, Sidekick, iPhone, Voyager, or some other kind of cellphone that has keyboard capabilities. Each mun can decide what they want. Rodney McKay also offers pimped out versions of the Godbox for a price.

Q: What is a Godbox and what can it do?
A: A Godbox is a small device that doubles as a mobile phone. It has a slide out keyboard and an extra key that when pressed, allows you to type in or speak into a microphone the location of where you want to go. When you press enter, you are instantaneously transported to that location. If you Godbox to a location that's in a different time zone, say from California to New York, then you have gone three hours ahead. Time Zones still exist, no matter where you're Godboxing to.

Q: How powerful are godboxes? Can they take you back in time, take you to an imaginary place, like Narnia or Coruscant, something like that?
A: Godboxes are literally at the discretion of God. It's why a baddie can't just godbox to some innocent thing's house unless it's part of a plot. You can't Godbox to somewhere fictional unless someone from that fandom is present in GodWorld. So if someone from Narnia or Coruscant is here, then yes, you can Godbox to that place. This includes other planets from fandoms such as Star Trek or Star Wars. Additionally, anyone with a ship could conceivably fly to their home world or others. I mean, they could go to their planet as it would exist in their canon. Or say, someone else's planet as it exists in their canon. Also, you can post on the message boards if you want to, even if you've Godboxed to another planet.

Q: What happens if pups from different timelines but the same fandom visit their home planet via ship or Godbox? Whose timeline would they be in? How long do they get to spend away from GodWorld's Earth?
A: If two pups of the same fandom but different timelines, for instance Mia and Qui-Gon of Star Wars, choose to visit their home world, it would be up to the two of them which timeline they visit. If Mia wanted to see Coruscant in Qui-Gon's time, they'd program Qui's Godbox and she'd go with him. If she wanted to show him her home planet in her time, they'd program her Godbox and he'd go with her. The average time away is 3-5 days, but longer can be taken if God is told. Just a quick note to her on the board about wanting to be away whatever length of time. If she's not notified, then the way you come back is all of a sudden, you're just compelled to leave wherever you are and come back to GodWorld.

Q: What kinds of locations and belongings come to the world with the characters?
A: Whatever is already established in that character's canon exists here, and each individual's belongings that accompany a character is left up to the player of that character. This also means that no canon and belongings can exist as well. It's up to the mun of each individual character.

Q: Where do characters appear?
A: Also, that's left up to the player. They can appear in any town that exists in their canon (provided they're from Earth), or on real space Earth. If your character exists outside of Earth, you can pick what town they appear in.

Q: Say a character from a futuristic yet Earth-based fandom enters the game (like Star Trek). How much of the technology would show up? Would all of San Francisco be converted into 24th century technology/buildings? Or would only Starfleet Command be there? Would there be an entire fleet of ships and all the regular Star Trek planets to explore and species to encounter now?
A: Because it's set in the future, nothing from that fandom that is Earth based would show up. GodWorld is current time. Whatever day it is in real life, it is in GodWorld. But you could Godbox to any Star Trek planets in the Star Trek person's timeline and if a person from Star Trek showed up, they could ask for a ship to be stored in some space station created for them. Anakin Solo requested his ship, so did Jaina, so God gave them their ships.

Q: What about nonhuman characters? Do they take on human form?
A: Yes, all non-human characters take on a human form. This means robots, cartoons, comics, etc. need to look humanoid. But it doesn't mean that they don't retain any powers they might have had before. They just become humanoid in appearance.

Q: What kind of PBs are allowed?
A: All PB's must be real people. Celebrities, models, actors/actresses, etc. No comic/cartoon/drawn forms, although the occasional comic or cartoon icon is acceptable. You also may not use yourself or any friends.

Q: Can NPCs be created and used by players?
A: Yes, absolutely. It goes with the territory of your canon being present. If for instance, Allison DuBois from Medium showed up, her husband and children could be NPCs. If someone apped those other characters, then they would replace the NPC. Unless and until someone applies to play a character, they can most certainly be a NPC created and used by the players of people from that canon. You're not required to bring NPCs with your character into the game though. It's at the mun's discretion.

Q: What happens when someone drops a character? Does that character "disappear", along with any npc's that came with them? If they were the only character from a certain fandom, does that fandom stuff disappear too?
A: When a character is dropped, the character completely disappears unless and until they are apped again. Any NPCs that arrived with them are gone as well, unless they apply to another character within that fandom and that character's player wants to keep them. If a complete fandom is dropped, then anything that exists in that fandom disappears, unless there are other characters that apply to it, for instance if Anita Blake's fandom was dropped then her house in St. Louis wouldn't disappear because John Winchester and his daughter still live there.

Q: Does the merger bring support/secondary characters with it, or just the character we app, and then random people to fill the new city? For example, does Batman's Gotham have the cops he is used to, or a whole new set?
A: Batman's Gotham would have the cops he is used to, as they are part of his canon. As soon as a character is brought to the world, their city comes with them, complete with everyone in it. But this doesn't always have to be true. For instance, Batman could also just be dropped into New York City, without anyone from his canon. Or Professor Xavier could be dropped into Miami instead of New York where his school would have been.
