Myrene is a mutant. (though she is not eager to admit it) Her power started off small, the ability to melt and reshape metal in small doses. However, Mr. Sinister saw potential in her abilities, kidnapped her and force fed her metal, causing her powers to grow and evolve. She's a genius in computer programming, and is better with computers than people sometimes, though her power can cause them to short circuit.
