Daughter of Lando Calrissian & Orda, a dancer in one of the finer clubs in Cloud City. He would disguise himself to get around the laws about gambling, met Orda and... well.
She was raised well and her father, the baron administrator of Bespin, never let her want for anything. And when her mother taught her to dance, her father yanked her right off the stage and taught her the finer points of fighting instead. One of the best things about having a former scoundrel as a father.
Now she represents Bespin in the New Republic. Oh, and she's pretty skilled with a blaster and in hand to hand combat.
