Description:

-
Cain is a tall man with dark black hair and dark blue eyes who appears to be in his mid-thirties. The Mark of Cain is not visible to all, but can be felt by all. To those who see magics, and spirituality, it is very apparent, showing up as something off, but not evil. It sits on his forehead in the form of a red cross, looking almost like a wound or a brand. He used to wear a hat or a headband almost all the time. He often wears his hair over it these days in public, and sometimes does not cover it at all. The Mark is the symbol of God's protection and power.

History:

-

-
Cain is the son of Adam, first created mortal Man, and Eve, first created mortal woman. He was the first born, and became the first murderer as well, when he slew his brother Abel. Driven into exile, he was given a Mark which prohibited anyone from raising a hand against him. What Cain didn't know is that this meant Death as well, who would not collect him.

And so, Cain walked the Earth, down through the ages, witnessing what came and what went. Cursed to walk the Earth for an untold number of years, he has become a master of adaptation and at learning new languages and new lifestyles.

He has been butcher, baker, woodcarver, soldier, courier, census-taker, herald, sailor, tinker, guide, pilot, astronaut, storyteller, accountant, government agent(which didn't go well), special forces soldier, assassin, hero, villain, priest, monk, and many other occupations. He has always been a wanderer. If he stays in any one place for too long, his feet begin to itch for the road and his eyes start to look for the exits. He tends to wander away from, and come back to, places he cares about, since he knows he will never settles down, until the Final Trump, and his judgment by the final judge, called Jesus. These days, he is a businessman, an investor, and the CEO or owner of quite a few companies and he is wealthy beyond the dreams of avarice.

Along the way of this strange life, he has been both fool and wise man, and done some strange things. One of those is his on-again, off-again affair with Lilith, a woman of his time who is also immortal. It was never more than a sexual relationship along with their mutual exiles that drew them together. They formed a friendship along the way and decided that they were not and would not ever be in love, but that didn't stop them from having several children together, at different times, and down the ages. These children included several famous monsters, including several of the primordial vampires and Grendel.

Curse and Abilities:

-
Cain's curse and Mark render him a wanderer, never able to settle down and never able to be attacked on Earth. It was placed upon him when he was 33, after his insanity which drove him to murder his brother. He heals from wounds, sicknesses, and ailments and hasn't aged since the curse was handed down. Death will not take him until he has been judged during the Final Trump.

Some legends believe he has power over Vampires but this isn't true. What is true is that for many of them, his power and blood flows through them as he fathered the first vampires on his world and his alternates may have done the same on other worlds. He is tough, fast and strong, and having been closer to God, he is more... solid than modern men.

Cain has met other wanderers and immortals in his time. He prefers, however, to walk among and with mortal men and women. He has loved and lost many times and developed a certain harder shell towards mortals, though he still takes pleasure in their presence and dallying with them. It would take a true immortal or someone very persistent to crack through the shell around his heart, though he has been known to dally, on occasion.

-
He is NOT the Wandering Jew, though he has met that person. They did not get along.

-

-
He has also had an ongoing debate with his dead brother, Abel, who visits him in his dreams, and sometimes while he is awake, as an angelic spirit.
