The Diamonds of Catan is an official variant for The Settlers of Catan released in the Netherlands only. It requires The Seafarers of Catan to play.

People are rarely ever satisfied. The settlers of Catan have everything their heart desires, until news reaches them that diamonds are found on a few of the neighboring islands. The greedy inhabitants immediately leave to seize as much as possible. Of course the pirates stand ready to rob them of their precious stones. Most settlers, however, succeed in getting some stones back home.
Materials in Box
- 50 plastic diamonds (9 red, 9 purple, 8 green, 8 blue, 8 yellow, and 8 brown)
- 8 six-sided dice (2 for each player color)
- 4 beach hexes
- 4 victory point tokens
