Welcome to Wizards' Forge
This wiki is designed as a place for the collaborative exploration of life, the universe, and everything. It is a forge for the creation of practical instructions for all sorts of tasks, to start with most tasks will be of a technical nature designed to be easily understood and followed. The emphasis will be on practical instruction for accomplishing goals, sort of like a HowTo or step by step recipe. There is also plenty of room for theoretical exploration and brainstorming, but with the intent of going past theory and speculation to practical applications that can be expressed as step by step procedures. Given the fact that not all theory can be easily translated to practical use, there will remain unfinished threads that will be left for future exploration.
Yes this is way too general of a goal for most folks to just jump in and start participating. I'll do my best to flesh out my own theoretical speculation and build as much of the vision as I can. This will only be a success with the inclusion of your visions as well.

Brian, I'll probably start moving stuff over there to The Forge in an page at least one level deeper. You can establish your own personal page with whatever you want to put there. The only project on The Forge page right now is WordsCount or you can go directly to the discussion page for WordsCount at Talk:WordsCount
