With technology often improving, it's no wonder that automatic tire chains have made their way in to the tire chain market. These tire chains eliminate the pain of attaching tire chains in frigid or wet conditions, and may save yourself a lot to owners of time.

To set up intelligent tire chains, owners mount a power switch to their dash, which provides 12 volts to an air solenoid installed on the vehicle's frame rail.
