Stay and watch the birds fight

You sit there and watch the birds fight over there prey. A slight temptation is starting to sweep over you... and you begin to creep forward, pawstep by pawstep. You are within two-tail lengths from the two. You step on a twig, and the bird with the worm flies off. But the other bird is too slow.. and you pounce. You kill the prey quickly, a stab of pride that you have managed to hunt at a young age. What a story to tell your litermates!
But then, a dark shape, attracted to the blood, begins stalking towards you. The white stripe is lit up by the streak of sunlight, and you realize what it must be. Badger! What do you do?
