Run and hide in a bush

You tear off toward a large bush, snaking your body around one of the roots, hoping nocat can see your quivering form. Your ears flick back in alarm as you hear the sound of multiple pawsteps coming toward you. Voices reach your ears that seem menacing and hostile. Suddenly the voices stop, and you sneak a look out of your shelter to see the patrol halt dangerously close to your bush. ...What do you do?
