Pad away

You start to pad away, and end up getting even more lost. You're looking around helplessly, confused, when you hear leaves crackle behind you. You whip around, and you see the ginger tom, who looks like he's trying to contain his laughter.
"I knew you were lost. There are some Twoleg homes over there... maybe your home is there too?" He flicks his tail at some houses in the distance. You nod gratefully at him, and he watches you as you pad toward the nests until he is out of sight.
Ahead, you see the Twoleg nests. There is a marsh to your left, and a long river flowing away toward your right.
