Mew and cry pitifully

"I found your kit, Birdsong." The black cat growled, picking you up by the scruff of your neck in his massive jaws. You see your mother, a beautiful young tortoiseshell she-cat, rush up to you, frantically sniffing you to make sure you're alright.
"Thank you, Marshclaw!" she purred in delight, taking you from the large black tom and carrying you back to camp. She sets you down next to your friends and siblings in the nursery.
