| |
- | Diamondhead is a Petrosapien ("Petro-" referring to rocks, "sapien" referring to the vague similarities to humans) from the planet Petropia (a portmanteau of "Petro-" and "Utopia"). Petropia is a crystal-covered world, and its inhabitants are silicon-based life forms made from that crystal. The majority of its inhabitants live in underground kingdoms. The different types of gems denote different races, each with its own distinct abilities and culture, and most Petrosapiens coexist peacefully. Beforehand, there was a centuries-long war between them, which led to their inadvertent discovery of space. This stabilized their civilization, and they began to explore beyond their planet.

- | Planet Bio
| |
- | Petropia is a craggy, geode-like planet where silicon-based beings evolved to build a complex society of separate underground kingdoms. While there are several different gem-based races, from ruby to emerald to sapphire, each with its own distinct abilities and culture, most Petrosapiens now coexist peacefully. After several centuries of warfare, a giant hole was ripped in the sky, revealing a universe far beyond Petropia's heretofore self-contained existence. As its recently enlightened inhabitants have now begun to turn their focus off world, the rest of the galaxy holds their breath, waiting to find out if these crystalline warriors will wage war or come in peace.

- | Bio Diamondhead Transformation Sequence
| |
- | With a body stronger than the known diamond, Diamondhead is the alien hero of choice for invulnerability and invincibility. Diamondhead has the unique ability to grow crystals on any part of his body, making tools and weapons that are extremely sharp, allowing him to cut through almost anything. This also enables him to regenerate his own body from any damage received. Though it is unknown the extent of which he can regenerate himself. He can also fire diamond shards as projectile weapons. Not only that, but his body can also refract light and beam-based weaponry. As he is the most recognized alien to be strongest in defense, the only disadvantage is that like any other crystal known today, sonic weapons can shatter his crystal body.
