Search Engine

Way back in the day, Google started out as a search engine. In 2002, it was reviled that pigeons are the secret behind their growing search engine.

Gmail

One of the first Google products was Google Mail or Gmail. On April 1, 2004 the product began as an invitation-only beta release. On February 7, 2007 the beta version was opened to the general public. With an initial storage capacity of 1 GB, it drastically increased the standard for free storage and is now at around 25,650,934 GB.

Google Video

In early 2005, Google launched their video sharing site, Google Video.

Google Gulp

In 2005, Google unveiled their drink, Google Gulp. According to Google, the beverage will optimize one's use of the Google search engine by increasing the drinker's intelligence. The drink was said to come in "4 great flavors": Glutamate Grape (glutamic acid), Sugar-Free Radical (free radicals), Beta Carroty (beta carotene), and Sero-Tonic Water (serotonin). However, this drink has yet to be seen in stores.

YouTube

Google realized that their video site, Google Video, was not very popular. So, in October 2006 Google bought YouTube. YouTube is a video sharing site similar to Google Video, but more popular.

Virgle City

In April 2008, Google announced a partnership with Richard Branson called Project Virgle. Their plan is to have a city (Virgle City) on the planet Mars by 2108.

The plan will start in 2010 with the selection of the right place on Mars to build a city.

Google Army

Google realized that to control the universe, that they would need an army. In October, 2008 Google CEOs bought a fighter jet built in Europe. Google is allowed to test their strategies at a local NASA airfield.
