Transformers is a 2007 commercial for General Motors. The commercial was directed by Michael Bay and written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman and stars Shy LaBuff. It was the most expensive and longest commercial ever made. It was so popular that it was made into a feature length movie.
Cars in the movie that are not by GM
- Optimus Prime - Optimus Prime (the leader of the Autobots) has always been a Semi and GM did not have a truck to fit the role.
- Barricade - The Saleen cop car.

At the begining of the commercial, the hero's car (Bumblebee) is a 1976 Chevrolet Camaro. However, part way through the movie, Bumblebee transforms into the 2009 Camaro Concept version. this was achieved by Bumblebee driving by and scanning the 2009 and transforming into it.
