EJR Manufacturing is an American manufacturing company founded in 1938 by Edwin J. Richards.

In 1935, Edwin Richards purchased a manufacturing plant that went bankrupt and closed.

In 1938, Edwin Eichards launched EJR Manufacturing.

In 1942, EJR Manufacturing began making supplies and equipment for World War II under ER War Supplies.

In 1946, ER War Supplies closes.

In 1955, EJR Manufacturing founded Richards Motor Company. Their first car, the RMC Mark 1, was ready for production by 1960 but RMC Motors decided to delay production due to market changes.

In 1966, EJR purchased a box manufacturing plant. In 1968, it is renamed to EJR Box Company.

in 1972, the RMC Hurricane was unveiled. The reception was mostly positive, however, RMC was losing money fast and could not even afford to produce the Hurricane. By 1973, the Hurricane was canceled and RMC officially closed in 1975.

In 1974, Edwin J. Richards decided to pass on his company to his son and to retire. Kevin Richards becomes President of EJR MAnufacturing in September 1974.

In 1976, EJR Manufacturing purchased Cool Breeze Beverages, a small juice manufacturer.

In 1989, Kevin Richards' son, Alex Richards, became vice-president of EJR Manufacturing.

In 1991, EJR Box Company was renamed The Richards Box Company.

In 1993 when a partnership was formed between EJR Manufacturing and Jayatsu Industrial. A new company was created to represent both companies called Am-Kor Limited.

In 1996, Alex Richards became head of EJR Manufacturing after Kevin Richards retired in 1995.

In 1997, EJR Manufacturing sold a minority share of Cool Breeze Beverages.

In 1998, Alex Richards became the CEO of Am-Kor Limited. Alex's brother, Adam Richards became President of EJR Manufacturing.

In 2001, EJR Manufacturing sold their remaining share of Cool Breeze Beverages.

In 2002, RMC was relaunched.

In 2008, Adam Richards decided to resign as President of EJR Manufacturing in 2009.

In 2009, Alex Richards steps down as CEO of Am-Kor and is replaced with Ralph James. Alex moves back to President of EJR Manufacturing replacing Adam Richards.
