Sysop Elects

Trying in a Rfa is the first step in becoming a sysop here at wikireligion. Rfa's last for one month. To become a sysop you need 75% of the votes to be support and over 5 people need to vote. If you pass then you are a sysop elect but not a sysop yet. You are a sysop elect for 2 weeks before you are given the tools. After you get the tools you are assigned a sysop to watch over you. If after a month he thinks you are doing good you will become a permanent sysop as long as you act good. If he does not think you are doing good enough you are assigned another sysop, this can happen up to three times. If the sysop does not think you are ready you are only a temporary admin, meaning you have the tools for three months. It will usualy take you 1.2 months to become a sysop but may take up to 4.2 months. If we are in need of more sysops the waiting period can be taken away, and Rfa's made 2 weeks long. Put your name below the line

I'm going to be creating pages and such, so I may need a few admin privlages to do some of the major pages, and to help out on the main page and such pages. RyGuy 06:15, 5 February 2007 (EST)

  • Support We need admins and I trust him. --Sir James Paul 06:26, 5 February 2007 (EST)

Oppose Incivilty, dicatorship, rude, abuse of power etc. ForestH2 17:47, 5 February 2007 (EST)

Reconsider please. I am in charge but I want this place to be built by the community. The policies I made are just here for now and will be changed.--Sir James Paul 17:55, 5 February 2007 (EST)

  • Support Since he is the co-founder. --Sir James Paul 17:52, 5 February 2007 (EST)
    • Comment him being a co-founder is irrelevant. A vandal can co-found a wiki (or a sockpuppetter, as the case may be). --Seven of nine 18:40, 5 February 2007 (EST)
