An atheist is a person with a lack of belief in god. A means no and Theist means god. There is two kinds of atheists, weak, and strong. A weak atheist thinks that there is a chance there is god, but it is not very likely. Strong atheists think that there is no way god exists. Usualy atheist believe science and look to it for answers. In communist nations there are many atheists, but in many other nations atheist are the minority.
