Got plans for November? Why not head down south to the country's 2nd largest state (in both land mass behind Alaska, and populace behind California) and check out some reliable Tex-Mex eats as you browse the extraordinary International Auto & Truck Show? Did we mention it's big???

From November 8 11, the Henry W. Gonzalez Convention Center will sport over 350 new vehicles, SUVs, vehicles, and concept cars. It's been an event for 39 years drawing 1000s of car and truck lovers from all over the world.

So what can you anticipate seeing? Well, beginning at the East Hall, you'll walk past 2008 types from Mercedes-Benz, Scion, and Suzuki. Isuzu will be there in the mix with its high-performance pickups and SUV design (the Ascender). Audi will display its newest TT and its future lineup will be shown off by Lexus as well. Keep on into the West Hall and check out those, and the Lotus present by Cadillac and Hyundai.

If vehicle shows are your thing, Texas is the place to be. The state provides over 200 truck and automobile shows annually, which range from the San Antonio Autorama at the Autodome to the Texas Heatwave Show at the Travis County Expo Center in Austin.

If velocity is what gets your blood pumping, Texas delivers in that region as well. As Twin Cities Speedway in Odessa, confirmed by the Texas Speedzone, Thunder Hill Raceway in Kyle, Bad Boyz Speedorama in Austin, and Houston Motorsports Park in you guessed it Houston rushing is popular in Texas.

Finding an auto show in your vicinity shouldn't be too difficult, while we love the great state of Texas. You will find literally a huge selection of car shows every year, in every state and that's not counting the big international shows offshore. France, Germany, Britain, Japan, also China puts on amazing car shows a vehicle lover's desire.

And car shows are not what they was once. These are significant productions with food, entertainment, stands from all sorts of auto industry reps, and needless to say, a glimpse in to the future of vehicles (both immediate and long term). Many present events for the entire family, which makes it a fantastic spot for a family vacation. For case, San Antonio's car show occurs near Riverwalk a spot for restaurants, resorts, and theme parks (San Antonio's Six Flags Fiesta Texas is a, skip, and a leap away). Other local sights include golf courses, Natural Bridge Caverns, the San Antonio Zoo, and Ripley's Haunted Adventure.

So the the next time you are down south where bigger is way better, check out the San Antonio Annual International Auto and Truck Show. You might just be surprised at what you see these aren't your parents' automobile shows. They are more than that. They are spots. And they're certainly the only place where so many different car manufacturers bond to give you a glimpse of what the future holds for the automobile industry.
