It's Gonna Be Me, the N'Sync hit, was taught by James Lien in Modern Dance of 2003 to the younger boy campers.
The dance steps, as documented by Chris Lee, are as follows:
Chorus
- 1- right leg crossed over left
- 2- left leg in front, right leg in back
- 3- same as 1
- 4- left leg left, right leg right
- 5- lean towards right, pop up right shoulder
- 6- lean towards left, pop left shoulder
- 7- same as 5
- 8- pop up right shoulder again
- 1- right arm 45˚ to right, index and middle finger out and pointing
- 2- swing right arm down and to the left, right leg behind left leg, but dont turn body
- 3- right leg back to place, right arm circle towards you and point front
- 4- left leg to right leg, left arm cricle towards you and point front, same hand form as right hand
- 5- right leg kicks up, extend both arms if not already extended
- 6- right fingers point to head, bring right leg to left, left fingers point to right toes
- 7- all arms and legs down
- 8- look left
- 1- left leg cross over right, left arm 45˚ down, right arm 45˚ up, left palm face floor, point all right fingers to floor
- 2- right leg step right, left arm 45˚ up, right arm 45˚ down, left fingers point to floor, right palm point down
- 3- same as 1
- 4- same as 2, but do not step right
- 5- arms down, right leg step right
- 6- swing left leg to right leg
- 7- left leg step left
- 8- shift weight to right leg then quickly back to left
