Liberty Region

Liberty Region #13, also known as LBR, was established in 2013 when Central Region East absorbed Philadelphia Region.
The region covers Central and Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Southern New York. Unfortunately, many of the chapters that were formerly part of Central Region East (CRE) have been neglected with virtually all recruitment focus moving toward the greater Philadelphia area. Chapters such as Elmira BBYO, Binghamton BBYO, and Scranton BBYO are being left to die due to a lack of attention and recruitment campaigns. This has especially been the case since early 2018 due to a years-long phenomenon of nearly constant change of regional staff after a failed potential split into "Liberty East" and "Liberty West" councils. In addition, these negative trends have been exacerbated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. LBR is home to some of the richest culture and proudest teams of the entire order.
