History
Mishpacha was founded in September of 2009 with help from Temple B'Nai Israel. Mishpacha was created to give Jewish teens in Northeastern CT a youth group to be part of, and services Willimantic, Mansfield, Willington, Ashford, Lebanon, Columbia, and other towns in Tolland and Windham counties. The chapter is based out of Temple B'Nai Israel in Willimantic, and prides itself on a strong partnership with the temple and commitment to the community.
In January of 2011, Mishpacha BBYO became an officially recognized BBYO chapter, receiving a "friggin'" plaque. We currently have 12 members.
