Intro

You know that tonight is the big night! But you aren't ready, you might be nervous, well, this article will give you a hand on how to!

Steps

1. Before you go to your theatre, you have to pack a few things.
   • Pack some water, to keep your throat moist, maybe put some honey, and lemon in, if you have a sore throat. Make sure your water is warm if you mix honey in it.
   • Bring some books if you get bored easily.
2. Get your supplies like any stage makeup, costumes, or etc..
3. Apply any stage makeup by yourself or get a professional to do it.
4. Put on your costume, or, if you're already in your costume, clean up a bit.
5. Go over your lines. This is very important if you are prone to stage fright.
6. Help other actor/actresses with their lines. Help them memorize them if you aren't a key part.
7. Check your makeup for the last time and your costume too! Make sure there isn't any smudges or any lopsided hats around.

Tips

• Do a vocal warm-up before you go on stage.
• Make a check list for yourself, and go over it, before the play.
• A good actor goes over his/her lines every night, until the last show, so it'll stay fresh in your memory.

Warnings

• Don't ever bring music or headphones, if you do, you won't hear the people calling you to get on stage, or you'll loose concentration, listening for your cue.
• Try not wear your make-up before you get into your costume.
