Emma is a woman of 37 years of age, local to New York City and married to Sebastian Roulier. She was never great in school, but passable, and entered college where she met Sebastian who is two years her senior. They fell in love pretty much right off the bat, and married not two months after they met.
Emma got pregnant right after that, but still keeping up in school, she gave birth to a daughter, which the married couple named Cori. Emma always knew her daughter was special. Ever since she was pregnant with her, she just knew. She's not religious in the slightest, so she knows it has nothing to do with that, but she dreams of a vague future where her child will be important. She just never knew how important.
Emma also gave birth to another child three years after the couple had Ris, but they were told he was stillborn. It took her a year to get out of the depression and she eventually went back to work at the WTC, but Emma never learned her baby, whom she had already named Jack along with Sebastian, had been misplaced and put up for adoption, mistaken for the one of a runaway teenage mother.
She always knew she was eventually going to die. She's know she was a little girl, that she was to give birth to the Holy Weapon of New York and that it would be of use to her daughter. She's always been fine with it and even though it took some time, Sebastian learned to accept it too. They never told Ris, however.
Emma spent her last years working at the World Trade Center as a secretary, not really important, but she figured she would spend her days with her loved ones instead of pursuing a career she knew would end before she was to turn 40.
Early in the month of January, 1999, Emma drew her last breath by the Statue of Liberty.
