Welcome to my first column and I hope you really enjoy it. I should probably start this first column talking about why I created this lyric site and my love for music. Well that answers the first question. Why would one do a lyirc site? Well for the love of music. Music didnt hit me instantly of course I was around music my whole life. At an early age (I'm 21 right now as I write this), I was listening to bands like The Cure and hearing singles by Guns N Roses and Tears for Fears. Not until a couple of years ago I really got into music.
With the internet full of music information, I was easily addicted to it. It's amazing how many bands and singers come along in one year alone but looking at all the years of music its an amazing amount of people who love music. I guess with this site it's my way of giving back. I've started to write my own songs so that was probably another reason for this site.
One of the new (at least to me) bands and artists that Iam currently listening to is an artist by the name of Joseph Arthur. I heard his song "Enought To Get Away" for his Nuclear Daydream album and I was hooked. I've listened to several other songs by him and he is pretty good. I hope you go ahead and check him out. I will probably do that for you guys give you a artist of the day when I do my column probably someone I heard or havent heard but might be worth the listen. In closing, I hope you enjoy the site and keep on listening!
