Beatlemania is a game based off of The Beatles. It was Maniac "Lollipop" Mcpee's fourth game, and was met with positive review scores. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr themselves endorsed the game. The game was hugely successful in The beatle's home country of The SRS ( which was at the time of the Beatles a part of the United Kingdom ). The game is hugely accurate, and goes into extreme detail of the life story of each beatle throughout the game. The game was developed by Lollipop, a couple of workers at EOS co. and the legendary PuppyOnTheRadio ( this was his second-to-last project before permanently retiring ). The game tells the epic story of the beatles, and the game is very different depending on which character you chose to play as. It included all four of the stages of the Beatles, which made beatles fans everywhere practically orgasm. No wonder the game has over 41,306 pages of text, then.
Summary
The game pretty much very accurately tells the story of the beatles, with even the option to play as Stuart Sutcliffe, though this is the shortest campaign and it only allows for a very small part of the game. The game includes Chief Blue Meanie, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts' Club Band, The yellow Submarine, The hoards of screaming fangirls, The Hard Day's Night Hotel, The mad indian priest, and many, many other countless classic obscure beatles references. The yellow submarine is 98% accurate when viewed inside the game, with the only thing wrong being one of the knobs operating the viewer is on the left, where it is actually on the right. The game was very well-researched and is the most historically accurate game based on something which occured in The 20th century. The fastest possible time to complete the game is 2:43, achieved by a user called "SmackBot" in 2038. This is amazing when you realise the very scope of the game. The average time to complete as any one character ( exept Stuart Sutcliffe ) is 16 hours.
Reviews and Reception
The game has an aggerated score of 92%. The lowest score it recieved was 76%, and the highest is 98%. So critic reviews include:
“An exciting and magical journey into the life, times, culture and music of the Beatles.”
“A true masterpiece.... one of my favourite games of all time. I may not be a fan of the beatles, but I'm a huge fan of this game!”
~ Online review, Uncyclopedia.org
“A true classic. I can't even complete the game as all four beatles because it's so in-depth and beautifully made that not just a hardcore Beatles fan can appreciate this game.”
“I can't get this newfangled computer to run this silly "computer game", young whippersnappers!!”
