Activities planned so far:This is a completely student-led initiative, planned and organized by Justin Beaveridge, a grade 11 student. Over 100 students, as well as many teachers have signed up to bike to school together. Participants will be biking in from Ahuntsic, Baie D'Urfé, Īle Bizard and everywhere in between. All bikers will assemble at a park across the street from our school at 7:55 A.M. on the corner of Westminister and Ainslie in Montreal West. We will then complete a symbolic lap around the school and end up in the front field where there will be a picture opportunity.

Title: In town without my car

Events planned so far: 7 - 9am: Walk, bike, rollerblade or skateboard to the Wild Flour Bakery, 211 Bear St, & sign the car-free pledge to receive a free small organic coffee.

11am - 2pm: Alternative transport booths in the Bison Courtyard on Bear St.

6pm: Free screening of The End of Suburbia at the Wild Flour Bakery.

Tuesday - Friday: Sign the car-free pledge at Banff stores to win great prizes!

Friday 25th Sept 5.30pm: Community bike ride departs from the Bison Courtyard, followed by the prize draw & live music at the Wild Flour Bakery.
