Strength of Competition - How strong the competition is for a particular keyphrase.

Commercial intent - A percentage figure to show how likely a buyer is to buy for that keyphrase.

Search/competition ratio - A figure to indicate how much competition there is for each search for that keyphrase.

Gruden attended Clay High School in South Bend, Indiana, where his father Jim Gruden served as an assistant to Dan Devine at the University of Notre Dame. Feeling he would not have a chance to play for the Fighting Irish, Jon Gruden chose not to attend Notre Dame, where he would have received free tuition as a coach's child. Instead, he attended Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio. After just one year he transferred to the University of Dayton, where he lived at 3 Evanston Avenue, and was the back-up quarterback to Phil Nussman under coach Mike Kelly from 1982 until 1984 Major Wright Jersey.

Immediately after graduating with a degree in communications, Gruden started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Tennessee during the 1986 season. He found his way as the quarterbacks coach at Southeast Missouri State for two years. He then moved to the University of the Pacific in 1989 as offensive assistant as the tight ends coach, where he coached Scott Lubow who was second team All Conference. He became the wide receivers coach for the University of Pittsburgh under Paul Hackett in 1991. Walt Harris was the offensive coodinator at Tennessee, where Gruden was one of his graduate assistant coaches, and later hired him at Pacific.

In 1990, Gruden's father Jim set up an interview with Mike Holmgren, who was the offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers. Gruden impressed Holmgren with his knowledge of the game for such a young man. Holmgren hired Gruden as one of the first quality control coaches in the NFL.

He quickly ascended through the ranks of NFL coaching by learning the famous West Coast offense pioneered by longtime NFL coach Bill Walsh. When Holmgren left the 49ers to become head coach of the Green Bay Packers in 1992, he took the promising young Gruden with him to become the team's wide receivers coach. After three seasons in Green Bay, Gruden moved on to become the offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles under former Packers assistant coach Ray Rhodes. I know Portis has done loads better in the past. Maybe I'll wind up being pilloried for missing out on his final burst of glory in the '10 season. But I'm willing to take my chances.

The Chicago Bears running game has not been anything to write home about this season. As much as head coach Lovie Smith and "meatball" fans want to admit the Bears are a run first team only, they are lying to themselves. I really do not blame the Bears for the next to last in rushing attempts because I think this is a year of transition. Expect an interesting sound as the Seahawks exit the tunnel today - one-third of the fans in disbelief, another third in disgust, and the last third loving every second.

Matt Leinart remains the Cardinals starting quarterback, despite a news report on Sunday that coach Ken Whisenhunt had decided to replace him with Kurt Warner.

Whisenhunt denied that was his plan and said today that the evaluation process at quarterback is continuing. He met with Leinart this morning to talk about the reports, assuring the young quarterback that the information didn't come from the Cardinals.

Leinart took snaps with the first team in Monday's short practice but so did Warner. That has been the norm this off-season.

In the past two years alone Mort has been responsible for a laundry list of false reports. First, it was that Michael Vick unlikely to get indicted, we all know how that turned out. After that came the guarantee that Ron Rivera was the next Cowboys Coach, and when that didn't pan out he was chided by colleague Greg Easterbrook online. If you have even a passing interest in sports, you have probably by now read something about Plaxico Burress pleading guilty and being sentenced to two years for illegal gun possession. Burress, the New York Giants wide receiver who two years ago caught the winning touchdown in the 2008 Bowl, was charged for carrying an unlicensed, loaded gun in his pocket into a night club. While in the club, the gun went off and wounded Burress in the leg.

It was fortunate that no one else was injured; the bullet barely missed a club security guard, and was found embedded in the floor later that evening. No charge for "wanton was filed, but in my opinion could have been. The weapon carried by Burress was unlicensed in New York or New Jersey Atlanta Falcons Jersey, where he lives, and his Florida license had expired.

Many people have criticized the two-year sentence as "excessive." The simple fact of the matter is that the sentence is less than what the law calls for in New York,, which is 3 1/2 year minimum sentence. What any other state may do is irrelevant; under our Constitutional system, each sovereign state is free to define and punish crimes as it sees fit.

Unlike the Scottish Justice Secretary who released a mass murderer last week, Morgenthau obviously believes in the rule of law, which is an all-too-rare quantity in these star-struck times. Anyone with any sense about guns should know better. His permit course, if he actually took one, should have taught him better gun safety than that.

A large part of owning and carrying firearms should include the responsibility to know the local laws and comply with them. I have a Kentucky permit, but some states accept it with reciprocity, and others do not. with reciprocity some have different requirements for how a gun can be carried. I cross into another jurisdiction it is my responsiblity as a gun owner to find out what the law is, and to comply with it.

The efforts of Burress and his friends to "cover up" the shooting by not reporting it was also a violation of the law, although it was not charged as such. Most of the time, however, the "cover up" can end up being worse than the original crime.

I am sorry to see yet another celebrity athlete fall prey to his own outsized ego and immaturity, and perhaps sacrifice not only his own career, but the fans enjoyment at watching him perform. At the same time, though, Burress punishment will hopefully serve as an object lesson to other athletes, of all ages, that their skills at their chosen sport do not provide them with a permanent "Get Out of Jail Free" card. More cases like Burress, and yes, Michael Vick, where the athlete does the time for his own stupidity, and fewer where athletes get below-minimum sentences for serious crimes, might just save some careers, and lives, down the line.

Danielle, I think the point here is that New York, as a sovereign state, made a policy decision to go tougher on gun law violations, and the prosecutor is enforcing the law, which is his job. The comparison between Burress and Vick is truly apples and oranges, because they committed their crimes in different jurisdictions. In the moral sense, perhaps carrying an unpermitted gun is not as bad as dog fighting (although I suspect some would argue that point), but our system and the rule of law do not make that sort of judgment.

If Plaxico was going to carry a gun, which he well knew was a licensed activity Julius Peppers Jersey, it was his responsibility to know the laws, comply with them, and pay the price if he did not do so.
