Sixth Annual Local Motion Car Free Festival
Organizer: Waterloo Public Interest Research Group

Location: Victoria Park, Kitchener ON
Events planned so far: Walk, bike, bus, or even ride your unicycle down to Victoria Park on Sunday September 14th between NOON and 5:00 pm and enjoy an educational celebration of alternative transportation options set in a fun, family friendly atmosphere. Learn more about how you and your family can reduce your environmental impact through your transportation choices.
Activities include: Live Music, Corn Roast, Free Bike Tune-ups, Bike Safety Demonstrations, Wacky Bikes to Ride, Skate Park, Children's Entertainment and Educational Area, And so much more!

Events planned so far: Leave the car at home! Walk, bike, or use your WATCard to take the bus to school today! Join us in the SLC Courtyard and discover what alternative transportation options are available to you and what the student groups on campus are doing to help you make the right decisions when it comes to your mobility. Learn more about how you can reduce your ecological footprint through the transportation choices you make.
Activities include: UW Bike Shop: Bike Auction, Free Bike Maintenance Workshop, Bike Forest: Wacky Bikes to Ride, "How many environmentalist can you fit on a GRT Bus?" , Design Your Sustainable City: A workshop with Andrew Hunter of RENDER, Free Corn Roast, And so much more!
