The Elled PM is in theory the leader of the nation, and ostensibly in charge of the mad-scientists council. This has rarely turned out to be the case, even though there have been occasional periods where it seemed that way.

Past Famous Prime minsters
Some of the most famous Prime Ministers in Elledian history are, Horatio Ferret, George the Useless, Justin Darke and DA
Horatio Ferret
Horatio Ferret is one of the cofounders of Elled, and though his direct descendent is an insane were-ferret, he was human. It is believed that on the Mad-Science Line he was a Junker.
George the Useless
George the Useless is infamous, not for being a True Mad scientist, but for being the most useless PM Elled ever had. He was elected by default, and tried to refuse the seat. He was not able to though. However George the Useless was a good writer and every Elledian has read his memoirs.
Justin Darke
Justin Darke was apparently,a good PM who got the council to co-operate.Major Reginal Saral realised thast this in itself was suspicious and launched an operation to uncover the truth. What he found out was devestating - Justin Darke was a blood sorcerer.
This sparked off a race like no other. The first time the losing party had survived an election.
