It is important to remember that in Elled Mad Scientists are scientists who can produce near magical tech. This does not mean they necessarily break the laws of the universe. Any sufficiently advanced science seems like magic.

There are those who can bend the laws of the universe, but this is due more to the energy=energy. Of those who are native to trhe universe only two are known to be able to do it.
