Vorarephilia

Vorarephilia, often referred to simply as vore by those interested in it, is a fetish consisting of one being, character, or entity consuming another in some way, shape, or fashion. The word vorarephilia is derived from the Latin vorare (to 'swallow' or 'devour') -- also the root of the English word voracious -- and Ancient Greek φιλία (philia, 'love'). However, the word 'vore' itself likely derived from such words as carnivore, herbivore, and omnivore, though the exact origin of the term is unknown.
