International Vore Competition

The International Vore Competition is an idea initially created by French Snack, and is a feature of stories written by French Snack and bedfordsb. The stories are set in contemporary Earth, in a world identical to the real one with the exception that it is possible to shrink people.
Competitors from around the world gather for the competition, which is held every two years. Volunteers eager to be eaten are shrunk and assigned to participants of their choice. Volunteers are swallowed whole, alive and unhurt, and then digested (see: soft vore). The winner is the competitor who eats the most shrunken people. Participants are assessed solely on quantity, not on the time it takes them to eat.
The first story (by French Snack) to feature the International Vore Competition (IVC) established that it was being held for the third time. The second story (by bedfordsb) suggested that the event had been at least the fourth. The apparent contradiction can be reconciled by considering that the first two events, in which nobody was eaten (according to bedfordsb's story), are not included in the official tally. Based on the stories by both writers, the competitions so far have been as follows. Winners of recent events are not listed, so as to avoid spoilers.
- ("unofficial") - San Francisco. No volunteers eaten.
- ("unofficial") - Miami. No volunteers eaten.
- IVC I - Lyon. Six volunteers eaten, including five by the winner, Cherry.
- IVC II - (location unknown). Winner unknown. Cherry eats twenty-six people.

Notable competitors include Cherry and Mitsuko. Cherry was the first person ever to swallow someone at an International Vore Competition. Some competitors at the events in San Fransisco and Miami attempted to swallow volunteers, but were unable to do so, due to gag reflex or other reasons.
The number of competitors at each event is unknown, except at the first official competition in Lyon where there were four, but there were at least eight at the third official competition. Although IVC stories mention only female predators, it has never been suggested that men cannot compete.
Canonicity
Stories by both writers are considered "canon", except when a story by bedfordsb contradicts an earlier story by French Snack.
