Consensual vore is a type of vorarephilia in which the prey and the predator both consent to the act of vore - i.e., the prey is willing to be eaten by this particular predator, who in turn is willing to eat him/her. It is the opposite of non-consensual vore.

Consensual vore often invokes feelings, behaviour and emotions such as excitement, happiness, satisfaction, caring, gentleness and love - as opposed to fear, struggling and sometimes sadism in non-consensual vore. In consensual vore, predator and prey may be in love with each other, in which case vore is performed as an act of ultimate love, caring and commitment.

Digestion may or may not occur in consensual vore. If it does, it will generally be imagined as painless, and as a form of loving commitment, the two lovers becoming one. Alternately, the prey may simply be held comfortable and safe in the stomach, either indefinitely or for a while before being regurgitated.

Consensual vore is generally associated with soft vore.
