Eka's Portal is considered to be the most active vore community currently. Boasting thousands of members, the forums of Eka's are known to be very active.
The Portal started in 2005 under the name "Strega's Portal" after one of the more well known vore artist, Strega, had difficulty with Yahoo! groups, where he had his works posted. After experiencing great success as Strega's Portal, many other vore artist started expressing interest in posting there own art. Another portal was made that eventual gained the name "Eka's Portal." On November 1st, 2005, Strega's portal and Eka's portal combined to make the current site, also named Eka's portal. In time, Eka's has grown to be the main hub for most voreaphiles. The site now includes it's own (very popular) vore chatroom, a vore wiki, a blog system, a very active forum, and hundreds of artists and writers.
Controversies
Since 2007, the administrator of Eka's Portal began purging users she didn't like. This has caused a minor backlash of sorts and a number of failed calls to get the site shut down or replaced. Most notably, a user by the name BradRepko who was around in the site's early days, was systematically targeted and claims to be discriminated against by Eka. For 16 months in 2008-2009 he was banned from the site. When that ban was lifted, he was rarely active on the site, until another ban was placed on him in early 2010. Since then, BradRepko has made a number of allegations about the site and launched a number of failed campaigns to get the site shut down.[1] Most notably recently, was Eka's one women vendetta against one MUTT43,who is C.M Walters in reality and an upcoming sci-fi/horror book and short story writer and she had banned him for 4 months at a time twice in 2009 and then again in 2010, lifting each of the bans to ban him again for undisclosed reasons. C.M Walters had gone back on Eka's, but does not post on there as often, because of fear of being banned again. C.M has made it clear that Eka at times is an unwilling " Super Bitch" who is both "overwhelmed with power" and "is unbalanced and unfair with her use of that power".
