Remember that nobody has ever been to the place you're describing, so you have to be as detailed as possible. Also, include pictures wherever possible: for example, when talking about mountains, show a dramatic picture of Mt. Everest. Obviously, pictures do prevent a problem when talking about a fictional world, so just try to use a similar picture of something in real life.
