The [[Ouni]] is the unit of measurement of [[Magic in Minerva|magical energy]] in [[Minerva]]. It is defined as the amount of magical energy required to exert one Newton of force in conventional, non-magical terms.  One Ouni is not considered to be much magical energy; most spells cannot be cast without several dozen Ouni, or even hundreds.
