Mon Prath is the northernmost nation in Avellia, and the second largest, after its southeastern neighbor [[Senzanya]].  It is a very mountainous country, from the [[Mitan mountain range|Mitan mountains]] in the east to the [[Krettr mountain range|Krettrs]] in the west.

Mon Prath is a democratic republic whose government consists of two branches in a system of checks and balances.  The two branches are the People's Representatives, elected officials who create legislation, and the Protector, a single elected official who moderates and interprets policy.  Both branches operate in five-year terms; no one may serve in either capacity for more than two terms.  [[Kans Retheb]] is the nation's current Protector.
