Jenn Abbott creates biuateful custom-designed slave jewelry and has to admit to a certain amount of envy for the recipients of each piece, but that doesn't mean she's ready to put herself back in such a vulnerable position again. Been there, done that, got the emotional scars to prove it. That doesn't stop her from being attracted to Scott or imagining him dominating her. Architect Scott Kinsley has no illusions about who he is or what he needs. His last serious relationship fell apart because he refused to continue to deny his dominant tendencies. From the moment he spots Jenn he knows she's the one for him the only trouble is any indication that he wants a 24/7 Dom/sub relationship terrifies her. Tori and Doug's housewarming party may have been overcrowded but that doesn't stop Tori from introducing Jenn to Doug's old college roommate Scott. Jenn had already noticed Scott and had hoped to avoid meeting him simply because of her intense desire to kneel at his feet but it looks like avoidance is no longer an option. She certainly doesn't anticipate the intense attraction and their erotic garden encounter. Thanks to her college experience with BDSM Jenn has denied her submissive needs but Scott makes her want to submit and that terrifies her. With Tori's help Jenn managed to escape the abusive relationship she was involved in during college and reinvent herself. Can she possibly enter into another Dom/sub relationship and still maintain her sense of self? Scott would like nothing more than to collar Jenn preferably with one of her own creations, but first he's going to have to show her that he is worthy of her love and trust. Natasha Moore depicts the importance of trust and communication in any Dom/sub relationship with her contribution to Samhain's BINDING TIES line. BOUND BY DESIGN allows readers to better understand the dynamics between couples involved in the BDSM lifestyle and how a bad experience could negatively affect any future relationships. I love how Jenn and Scott interact even when there's so much insecurity and uncertainty as to if they have a future together. Scott's gentle guidance and support proves to be just the thing Jenn needs to get over the emotional roadblocks preventing her from accepting her need to be dominated. BOUND BY DESIGN is a biuateful story that leaves the reader believing in a happily ever after regardless of the sort of lifestyle you choose to live. Don't forget to check out the other stories in the BINDING TIES line. They are: THE INITIATION OF ISABELLA by Jenna Ives and MAISON DOMINE by Skylar Kade.
