Rick McLaughlin, commonly referred to as Rick, joined USGovSim in late 2005, towards the end of Reset 4. He is one of only 2 players to have won the Presidential nomination from both parties since the start of Reset 4 (the other being Shack), as a Republican in 2012 of Reset 5 and as a Democrat in 2016 of Reset 7. He also holds the record for the longest time as President, 2 years as Rick McLaughlin at the end of Reset 5, then for another 8 years as Elizabeth Warren at the start of Reset 6.
