Jonathan Hayes (D-NM), currently serving as Vice President of the United States, and former Governor of New Mexico.

Hayes, Secretary of State of New Mexico since 2003, became Governor upon Bill Richardson's confirmation as Secretary of Commerce. Serving since 2009, Hayes declined to run for re-election in 2010.
