Early Life

Youth

Haley Elizabeth Cavalier was born at 6:12 PM at Phoenix General Hospital to Marcus Allen Cavalier, a local musician, and Alexis Sorenson Cavalier, the daughter of wealthy southern socialites. Haley was raised in the southwestern portion of the Phoenix metropolitan area between the city proper and the Glendale area. Between Marcus's low-rate musical career and barkeeping jobs and Alexis's remaining trust fund, the family lived a slightly-less-than middle class lifestyle in a low-rent apartment complex in a predominantly hispanic neighborhood. Haley learned Spanish as a second language at a very young age.

After barely passing Middle School, Haley quickly excelled to the top of her class upon making it to South Phoenix High School. She maintained a 4.0 average all her subjects, captained the cheerleader squad, and was highly active on the debate team. She graduated as Valedictorian and, after brief consideration of enlisting in the armed forces, decided to pursue a career in Civil and Constitutional Law.

Haley soon received a full scholarship to attend Harvard Law in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2001, and did so with some financial help from her family. There, she continued to excel in her schooling while remaining financial independent through various private ventures. After 6 years in 2007, Haley graduated with degrees in both Civil and Constitutional Law and easily passed the American Bar Exam.

Professional Career

Later in 2005, Haley was signed on as a Junior Partner to Proctor, Wright, and Gonzalez, a small firm in the West Hollywood area of California. Haley promptly relocated to a small home in Malibu, where she took on minor case work for the firm for a year while at the same time dabbling in local city management. After winning several pro bono lawsuits and one financially significant case, Haley was made a full partner with the departure of Wright in late 2005, along with being elected to a local zoning management council. Haley was also able to afford a new home in a high-rise apartment on the world-famous Malibu beach.
