Andrew Brockmeier was born to two teachers in Ann Arbor Michigan. His father, a University of Michigan law professor, and his mother, a high school English teahcer, both instilled in Drew a passion for community service. Andrew James ("Drew") Brockmeier (born July 4,1976) is a Democratic Congressman from Michigan's 15th District and Chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
