Story
Everyone live peacefully in the Mushroom Kindgom...until the day where it attacked by Giant Enemy Crabs!Mario and his gang of fellow party guy must use the power of star to flip over the crabs and attack their weakpoint for massive dammage!

The game only feature 5 character (and still not Donkey Kong) since Mario Party 634 removed every character epxect Mario and added two facceless stickman.

It should be noted that both Stephen Harper and George Lucas , two characters introduced in Mario Party 633 make cameo as an board event and a shopkeeper.
Multiplayer
Mario Party 635 feature two equally boring multiplayer option (excluding the party mode) God and party2.
The God mode is a 4 characters mode.Four character are trapped in the hell dimension and must kill the other characters using beast of burden and their inner demon.The surviving player become a proverbial god as the superstar of the universe. The mode Party 2 don't have much information since it can only be unlocked by beating Giant enemy Crab 888 time in a row.
Plot summary
The game depict Mario journey to find the secret of the Real Time Weapon change. Mario encounters many evil guys such as Batman and Jean Charest.
