Yes, I thought of the Chor-police contcenion too, but in the text I thought it was more of a play on the word corpulent. About references to Mahabharata being to blatant, well, I guess that's because people are more familiar with a greater number of incidents from the Mahabharata. About Feluda, I still can't believe that too many people apart from Bongs have *read* it. Still haven't come across too many who have. But if it really IS true that a lot of non-Bongs (Bongs simply LOVE to throw around this term) HAVE read Feluda, then I think it's quite an embarrassment because quite a lot of my Bong friends haven't read either the original or the English translations.
