White stars are typically rare in the Andromeda Galaxy. Only about one out of every eight systems has a white star. These stars are characterized by their bright white photosphere and rather visually faint coronas. Whether the white stars of the Andromeda Galaxy are similar to the white dwarfs of the Milky Way is unclear, though some white star systems in The Universal are rather small, such as M-478.

White stars have the lowest occurrence of inhabited planets of any star type in the Andromeda Galaxy. Refined Uridium is common in inhabited systems, though, found in almost nine out of ten inhabited white star systems.
